Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our talented engineering team at AI Talent. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the development process, managing engineering projects, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions. You will play a crucial role in fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a diverse team of engineers, providing guidance, support, and opportunities for professional development.
- Project Oversight: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company goals.
- Technical Expertise: Provide technical leadership and direction, ensuring adherence to best practices in software development, architecture, and quality assurance.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of solutions.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process enhancement and implement strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality within the engineering team.
- Performance Management: Conduct regular performance evaluations, set clear goals, and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders regarding project status, risks, and resource needs, ensuring transparency and alignment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or in a similar leadership role, preferably within the outsourcing or technology industry.
- Strong background in software development, with proficiency in relevant programming languages and frameworks.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluent in English and have good presentation skills.
